What is an "Authorized Dealer" or "Official Dealer"?
These terms describe any company that buys their merchandise exclusively from one manufacturer at a significant discount. In return, the manufacturer requires the "Authorized Dealer" to conform to the manufacturer's pricing guidelines. In other words, authorized dealers get a deep discount on their merchandise from the manufacturer but typically don't discount their merchandise to customers very much, if at all.

Ermitage Jewelers is not an "Authorized Dealer" for most of the brands that we sell. We have chosen not to be an "Authorized Dealer" so that we can offer you the best value for your money.

If you're not buying directly from the manufacturer, how do you get your merchandise?
We purchase all of our products from other jewelry stores, authorized dealers, and respected industry wholesalers.

Do your products come with a warranty?
We honor the full manufacturer's warranty on all of the products that we sell. We will always provide you with an Ermitage Jewelers 1-2 year(s) warranty certificate with your purchase.

Do I get the manufacturer's warranty?
Because Ermitage Jewelers is not an authorized dealer for many of the products that we sell, the manufacturer may or may not honor their original warranty. Ermitage Jewelers will always honor the full manufacturer's warranty and repair your product at no cost to you during the warranty period.

What is your return policy?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your watch purchase. Customers have both a 10-Day Inspection Period to evaluate their watch and make sure it is 100% as described on our website as well as a 100% Genuinity Guarantee (See Warranty page) During this period if you feel your purchase is not as pictured please notify us and we will issue to you a Full Refund or Replacement at your discretion. Beyond this period we will try to honor requests for exchanges and/or upgrades as long as they are reasonable. Please note that exchanges must be approved by our sales manager. Also, this return policy does not apply to Special or Custom Orders or Additional Link Orders.

How do I know my watch is authentic?
Our watches are Guaranteed to have 100% Genuine Rolex Watch Parts as stated below. In order to verify your Rolex's manufacture information you may view its Serial #, Model #, Case back ID, and Movement Signature (the 4 primary verification methods used by professionals) by looking between its bottom lugs (part where the band connects to case), top lugs, and by opening the watch's Case back respectively. If you are ever told that a watch is not authentic, you should ask if the individual or store performed these 4 verification tests first as these are the only "fool-proof" verification methods. If you are told by an jeweler or watchmaker your watch does not contain Rolex parts as stated above, please fax us proof of this on the industry professional's letterhead and we will immediately issue you're a replacement or refund, 100% Guaranteed.

What are your business hours?
We are open from 10 AM until 6 PM, Mon-Fri and 10 AM until 5 PM Saturday. Eastern Time excluding holidays. We are closed Sunday.

Do you take trade-ins?
(Yes, but only if you have a higher-end model such as a President, vintage Rolex, or unique or rare model. We simply buy other models in such large quantity that we cannot obtain and process them for sale one at a time. When submitting a trade proposal, please indicate the brand name, model number, case metal, case size, shape, overall condition, and any other useful information. Do you offer layaway terms?
Yes. We can hold the watch of your choice for 30 days with a 20% deposit. Please understand that all layaway payments are non-refundable.

Do you offer repair or customization services?
Yes. We do all of our repair work with our In-house technician. Jake has been a Rolex trained Master watchmaker for well over 25 years now.

Do you sell accessories for Used Rolex watches?
We are proud to offer a superb line of custom accessories for your Rolex timepiece. Our Custom made gold and diamond bands, bezels and diamond dials feature high quality diamonds and meticulous craftsmanship. We do not cut corners when it comes to quality.

What is meant by the term "custom diamond dial or bezel?"
In order to be able to offer a larger range of bezels set with various precious stones at sales prices that are significantly lower than those charged by most major watch companies for bezels which it manufactures and in order to be able to offer a larger range of dials set with various precious stones at sales prices that are significantly lower than those charged by Rolex or other companies for dials which it manufactures, Ermitage Jewelers offers its own range of custom-made dials and bezels. These dials and bezels are each hand set and hand finished by our In-House skilled master craftsman to enhance the beauty of each watch using genuine diamonds and precious stones. In some cases, adding a custom dial or bezel may void the manufacturer's warranty. Many of our customers who desire the elegantly accented looks of customized watches, but who also wish to have the option of availing themselves of the manufacturer's service options choose to also purchase from us an accompanying original plain factory dial or bezel as well. We offer these to our customers for deeply discounted prices. We do this so you can enjoy the creative looks which have become so popular in regards to customization with diamond dials and bezels, while at the same time allowing you to have the deep peace of mind inherent in also having the original accessories that came with the watch.
