For over 20 years we have been working with some of the largest southeastern Rolex dealers as their preferred service center. Now our services, which have previously been reserved to dealers only, are now available for the benefit of the public, although dealers are still more than welcome.

Throughout the last 20 years we have invested thousands of dollars in establishing a state of the art repair facility that is fully equipped with the most modern watch repair technology and authentic Rolex parts. We are confident that we will provide the quickest and most reliable service, and in doing so, establish a long lasting relationship with you.

Why you should entrust us with your Rolex timepiece? We know how hard it is to find a reliable watchmaker in this day and age, after all, we are dying breed with only 6,000 of us left in the United States. Because of these low numbers, many customers are left frustrated without a dependable local watchmaker. I'm sure many of you know the feeling. Deciding whom to trust with your expensive Rolex timepiece is a daunting task, but we at Ermitage Jewelers, feel that we are the best choice out there.

Here is a step-by-step process of what your watch repair service experience would be like, should you choose us as your watch repair service provider.

Once you contact us and decide to send us your timepiece we will provide you with our mailing address to have your watch shipped. We recommend USPS Fully insured, registered mail.

We do not do partial repairs

• When your timepiece arrives at our facility it will immediately be marked in with comments being made regarding the timepiece's case and serial number, color of dial, style of bracelet, number of links, and any other distinguishing conditions.
• The watchmaker will next open the watch in order to assess its condition and determine an estimate. This process is done very carefully and is free of charge.
• Once an estimate has been established we will contact you to get an approval. Should you not approve the estimate, the watch will be sent back to you at your expense.
• Upon approval of estimate, most Rolex watches - this excludes vintage watches or watches with serious damage - will be repaired within 14 working days.
• The repair procedure begins by disassembling the movement of your timepiece and putting it through the cleaning process. Meanwhile, the case and bracelet will be refinished to the highest possible standard of newness.
• Next, is the most critical part of the repair process which is assembling, lubricating and regulating the movement. This requires a truly knowledgeable and skilled watchmaker. This is the difference between the watch clinic and others.
• We use five different oils and lubricants each time we service your Rolex watch.
• We feel it is necessary to replace the mainspring each time we service your Rolex watch. This is where most other watchmakers cut corners.
• We use FixoDrop to improve the self-winding ability of your Rolex watch. Ask your watchmaker if he knows what we're talking about. Most likely he doesn't.
• We always replace old acrylic crystals with new ones, no exceptions.
• Lastly, we always replace all gaskets.
• Once your timepiece is assembled and lubricated it is placed on our state of the art Watch Expert timing machine for regulation.
• The repair process is complete when we place your newly repaired movement into its newly refinished case. The watch is then checked for water resistance.

Peter started his jewelery apprenticeship under his father, continued an apprenticeship with Baume & Mercier in New York for 7 years and has emerged as one of the premiers specialists in custom jewelry designs and restoration.
